Design & Styling of Honda CB Unicorn
Honda CB Unciron's aerodynamic body lining, sleek design, appealing tail lamp and excellent body graphics add style statement to it. The bike does not have a digital console which puts it a little behind the competition, but the dials really serve the purpose. The instrument cluster of CB Uncorn is similar to a entry-level sports bike with a big speedometer and smaller tachometer.
It also features a fuel gauge and lights for Power on, Winkers and High beam. The tail lamps follows the fashion statement from Dio. The winkers are stylish and up-to-date. One noteworthy feature of Honda CB Unicorn is that the head lamp flasher works even if the engine is off. Yes, the flasher uses the battery power. This is one feature that is not found in other bikes.
Engine of Honda CB Unicorn
The engine of CB Unicorn remains unchanged but has been updated to meet the stricter emission norms which go into effect next month, it is equipped with the same refined and responsive 150cc engine. The pemium entry level segment has recently seen new additions like Bajaj Pulsar 135, Gladiator SS and TVS Flame DS 125. Manufacturers are increasingly turning to the (so called premium) 125cc segment for profit. With a strategic move by Honda (HMSI) to augment the 12% market share it holds in this segment, the company is like to introduce an all new motorcycle in125cc segment in addition of its existing 125cc Shine. Honda India has launched the new upgraded CBF Stunner, which was showcased at the 2010 Auto Expo in New Delhi.
New CBF Stunner gets the following new features : –

The CBF stunner was the Honda’s attempt to attract young customers who love performance and style. In a similar bid, Bajaj had earlier announced it would launch sporty version of XCD 125cc. Honda India has succeded well with the Stunner CBF. Honda showcased the CBF stunner concept at the Auto Expo and since then the enthusiasm of bike lovers have raised anticapting its launch. Now, Honda Bikes India has come up with the Fi variant of CBF Stunner. Honda CBF Stunner Fi has been priced at Rs64,700 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

CBF Stunner comes with first of its kind feature in the 125cc segment - integrated front cowl, sporty split seats, wider tubeless tyre at the front and the rear for all variants and a sporty foot step holder. The two panel rear sharp cowl is not that much sharp and noticeable to a extent. The rider's position is sporty and you can judge from the foot step holders. Headlight looks something as we have seen already, well not much refreshing yet good looking.
Honda has also raised the suspension and rearranged the foor pegs to make the CBF stunner sporty. The exhaust mouth of the new CBF stunner also gets a new styling. Complementing the new clothing is the contemporary all black theme of the CBF stunner.

Overview of Honda CB Shine
Honda India has upgraded the 125cc Shine with the launch of the CB Shine. The CB Shine now complies with the new emission norms which went into effect from 1st April, 2010. It now features viscous air filter and maintenance free battery like they have done with recently launched CB Unicorn.
After doing a twist with its last launch – the 110 cc Twister, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has now dazzled with a new sportier and premium version of its Unicorn, which has been christened CB Unicorn Dazzler.
Design & Styling of Honda CB Shine
A hefty and cleverly chiselled fuel tank of CB Shine comes with well-designed knee recesses and a familiar filler-cap in chrome. Accommodating 11 litres of fuel, this tank blends into boomerang-shaped side panels that lead backwards into a smooth brake-warning lamp. The Shine’s grab rail is straightforward and non-alloy. Compared to the Unicorn, the Shine has instruments that are boring, though the bike does well for itself with neat switches.
Engine of Honda CB Shine
Honda Shine is powered by an astonishing 125cc 'Optimax' engine which yields a classic 10.3 BHP. The engine helps to maintain optimum input for maximum output. This way it delivers the best of both mileage and pickup making it actually a "dream bike". The bike’s four-stroke, air-cooled and single-cylinder engine has been termed ‘Optimax’ and is broadly a scaled down version of the Unicorn power plant.
As on the Unicorn, there’s an offset crankshaft to minimise piston and cylinder friction, while the cylinder head is cast with twin-air channels that aid prompt cooling. The heel and toe shift operated gearbox is four-speed and shifts all up. Honda claims that the bike should deliver more than adequate power in the lower end of the power band. Honda engineers have been smart and given the bike slightly taller gearing ensuring that the bike manages to get higher speeds at lower engine revolutions.
Shades Available in Honda CB Shine
CB Shine is available in five shades:
- Geny Grey Metallic
